Welcome to Be a Light Photography!

My name is Kell. I am a mama to the sweet little boy. He is my sidekick and my best friend. He doesn’t quite enjoy photos as much as mommy does, haha. I am a daughter of Christ, and that is the foundation of all things in my life. Including this! It is such a gift to get to meet and chat with so many people and pray for them, hear their stories, about the season of life they are currently in. Whatever it may be, I love getting to capture a little tidbit of your lives!

I try to capture photos that tell a story. They tend to be a little folksy, with earthy hues and a lot of detail shots. I get the honor of capturing your families, birthdays, new additions, closing chapters, and so much more.

There is something so satisfying about having a dream, a vision in your head of how to represent a moment, and turning it into the art that you hang on your walls and share with your families.
